FRA! ist ein Musikensemble aus Accra, Ghana. Bestehend aus jungen Musikern unterschiedlicher Herkunft, verbindet sie die gemeinsame Sprache der Musik. Der Name „Fra“ bedeutet „Melange“, er bezieht sich auf die Fusion-Elemente ihrer Songs, die eng mit dem afrozent-rischen Erbe der Künstler verbunden ist. Die Gruppe gilt als die funkigste ghana-ische Band. Sie bereist die Welt, um ihre einzigartige Musik, die sie als Highlife Funk bezeichnen, zu präsentieren und zu promoten.
FRA! is a music ensemble from Accra, Ghana. Consisting of young musicians from diverse backgrounds, they are united by a common musical language. The name „Fra“ means „melange“ and refers to the fusion elements of their songs, which are closely linked to the artists‘ Afrocentric heritage. The group is considered the funkiest Ghanaian band. They travel the world to present and promote their unique music, which they refer to as Highlife Funk.
